  I agree with most of the negative reviews here about billing, I don't feel so alone in my frustration. I left my dentist after 10 years when GD acquired Southwest Dental. I had some work done and insurance billed. I carry 2 dental insurances. Mine and my husbands. The secondary did not pay about $300, and I got a bill. No problem! Let me pay that.....However, when the GD took over, the system must have changed my address to one that was 4 years old, because that is where the bills went. No one bothered to pick up the phone to call me, when they got the bills back. If they had actually looked in my paper chart, they would have seen for the past 4 years, I was living some where else. Which was on ALL my forms I have filled out for the past 4 years. Fast forward, I get a bill from a collection agency, those bastards sent my bill to collections. Needless to say, I was very very upset. Instead of helping me, the front desk lady told me it was not her problem, that I don't pay my bills, and that it is my responsibility to make sure I don't have a bill. Are you kidding me!!! Thank you for the insult GD. I finally talked to a front office manager that said she would look into it. She never called me back, but she did call the collection place and put an admin hold on it. So I could not pay them either. Well that lady left, and another lady took her place. So again, I had to explain everything. She did pull back that charge, and I payed her(on principle I was not paying the collection agency). That whole thing took about 5 months to clear up. I would avoid this place, as they are unprofessional and don't give a crap about their customers.
