  My children have been seeing Dr. Tan for 11 years and he is the best doctor I have ever experienced. I found Dr. Tan while he was doing rounds in the E.R., after going to several ER's and several doctors, I went back for a second opinion and Dr. Tan not only diagnosed my child properly, but he also found several different issues and educated me to the fullest. He takes his time, remembers me and my kids even after months and years of us not going, he is so warm and kind, he even handled my fears and house calls from out of town. He is always returning my late night triage calls. If he isnt sure, he will research with you and allow you to make final decisions without pressure. The perfect pediatrician! Office staff is nice and the same receptionist since I have been seeing Dr. Tan

  I have been taking my children to see Dr. Tan for many years, and I have to say that I absolutely love him, and I love his staff. I have 6 children that I bring in for all manner of illness and injury, and I always feel comfortable and that we are truly cared for. Dr. Tan listens to me as a parent, really takes my concerns into consideration, and has never made me feel rushed or like he doesn't care. He has never pushed a treatment that we were not comfortable with, and always takes time to make sure he understands the problem we are there for and that we understand the best treatment options for the problem. His PA, Vanessa, is also really awesome. I have found her to be a very good listener, and she is also very insightful and does not jump to diagnosis. She takes my concerns as a parent to heart and has even looked up alternative methods for me to try with certain behavioral problems that we have been dealing with. I can be in the office with one child and both Dr. Tan and Vanessa will ask me about the other kids... they actually remember! Do you know how rare that is? I have taken my children to pediatricians in the past who not only had no idea we had been there before, but did not seem to care if we ever came back. I am really glad that I found this practice, and I could not be happier with care my family receives. As far as wait-times go, I work in the medical field, so I guess I see the wait-time as a non-issue. You're going to wait wherever you go, so if you have a great Doctor = it is worth the wait. The staff in this office also help to make this practice the best we have ever been to; they are very responsive, friendly and always ready to help. I have never had a problem getting an appointment scheduled or a call returned.
