  He is very arrogant and doesn't want to spend the time to explain or tell you anything. hes always in a rush which comes of as extremely rude especially when your in extreme pain and in mercy of anyone to help. My girlfriend went to him for an ankle injury and he was as rude also and just wants to recommend surgery, and eventuality walked out as she was talking. I should've listened to my GF when she told not to go to him. He might be very knowledgeable, but all his rude traits cover everything and it left me puzzled by the end of my appointment on what to do with my foot. the only reason i went to him is because ASU had him on the top of the list of recommendations. Why would ASU recommend such a doctor......?!?!?!?! I have to say though, Staff is awesome and they are very aware of the Rude doctor they have in there!

  This is the worst orthopedic surgeo/butcher in Arizona. If you value your legs, ankles or any part of your body do not let him near you. He would not accept his mistakes or the fact I ended up in a wound clinic and am now disabled due to his butchery. He has no bedside manner to speak off He is cranky, mean and plain out rude. Other surgeons have looked at my x-rays and declared it the worst job they had ever seen. The front desk personnel at TOCA didn'teven like him. I should have sued the pants of him and TOCA but I was too nice. I just got a new hip from Canyon Orthopedic and I highly reccommend them. They use a new technique and and go through anterier rather than the back, so the hip heal! s in two or three weeks and the pain is negligible. Ask for Dr Ganesh. Also I have heard from two Physical Therapists and one other patient as to how evil Armendariz is and how many patients have complained about him. May he rot in hell.

  I would rate him less than one star!!! He is very arrogant. I brought all current x-ray's and reports, he wanted me to have more X-rays done in his TOCA office. When I nicely refused and mentioned I brought all current x-ray's and 4 day old MRI reports. They said they needed more. $$$$$$_$_$$$__ let's charge the patient and insurance more$$$ . No wonder our insurance is going up!! I refused more X-rays and asked to see Dr. Armendariz. He came in and said I have arthritis and all I can do is get a knee brace and / or injection and wait for years more of deterioration than replace my knee! Really, WOW, really! I asked him about my torn meniscus and he said nothing can be done about that my problem is arthritis. THAN HE SAID ,,,,, DO YOU WANT TO COME BACK ANOTHER DAY WHEN YOU CAN HEAR BETTER. ???? I was shocked he said this!! I said excuse me what did you just say? I explained I was in a great deal of pain and can he please repeat what he said. Unbelievable, he was upset because I denied more X-rays!!! It was very apparent!! I said no to the injection and no to the knee brace and went to a different doctor who said everything I brought in was current and up to date!! Stay away from Dr. G. Armendariz! Rip off $$$
