- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Renfree performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands (at the same time) in February 2014 and I am delighted with the results. The recovery from and outcome of any surgery is due to the skill of the surgeon, and Dr. Renfree's surgical skills are top notch. It's been three weeks since the surgery and I can barely even see the scars. Due to my age (58) and the fact that I waited two years after Dr. Renfree first recommended surgery, my carpal tunnel was severe, as my delay simply caused more damage to the nerve. He told me honestly that it might take up to a year to realize the full benefits of the surgery. However, I don't think I'll have to wait that long. On a scale of one to ten, the numbness I experienced before the surgery was a ten. It is now at a one, and even if it never gets any better than that, I'm thrilled. I never felt less than completely confident with Dr. Renfree and highly recommend him for his skill, compassion, caring bedside manner, and competent, knowledgeable staff.
