  Dr Kapoor is one of the most knowledgeable and understanding doctors I've seen. She patiently went through my records and not only listened to me describe the problems I'm having but also asked specific questions to pinpoint what was going on. She then sat me down, explained what was happening, what she thought I had,what she wanted to do about it and what she wanted to investigate further. She told me to start slowing down, reassessing my future plans to accommodate my diagnosis and focusing on what I can do instead of grieving all I can no longer do. In addition to spelling out what she wanted me to do; she told me to start finding ways to enjoy the new life I would have to lead, to find new ways to live within new, less fast-paced parameters. She told me qto go home after my first appointment and focus on doing something happy with my child instead of spending all my time working against what she confirmed is a disease to be managed but not cured. I feel blessed to have her as my doctor and confident that she will help me navigate the disease while also looking for other issues that may be contributing. I highly recommend her and believe she is one of a dying breed of doctors who actually want to figure out what is wrong with her patients instead of the status quo assembly line type who just prescribe drugs as symptom band aids while ignoring the underlaying cause.
