  If they can't reliably get me a prescription refill in a reasonable amount of time, I simply can't use them or recommend them. I called almost 2 weeks ago for a refill on a daily prescription that my cat has had for months. For some reason they said there were no refills when there were. They said they would call the vet and get back to me. A week later and nothing. So I call again and they respond with oops, you're right, there are refills, we will get that right out to you. A few days go by and, again, nothing happens. So I call a third time and they respond again with oops, we will get right on that and ship that to you overnight for free. They even went as far as to say they would call me back if they couldn't get it to me the next day. No call, so I assume they shipped it out. The next afternoon, nothing. So I call a FOURTH time and again they respond with... you guessed it, oops, we didn't ship it out in time so it won't be there for another 3 or 4 days. My cat will have been without his medication for 4 or 5 days by the time I get the refill. He will get sick in that time, so now I have to run around trying to find someone who has his prescription.

  My vet highly recommended Roadrunner so I decided to give them a try. I generally don't use mail order pharmacies because it is difficult to build a trust relationship via mail. On my first call to provide shipping & payment info, I was on hold for 45 minutes and hung up. On the second call, it was 30 minutes before hanging up. On the third call, another 45 minutes before finally speaking to a person. I asked if it was normal to wait so long to speak to someone. The pharmacist told me "we are busy - do you want your order or not?" Of course I said no, thanks! I sent a Facebook message to customer service - the only other way to reach them - and a manager called me back to let me know that they hired "a bunch of new people to answer phones & they start this week." Fast forward to two weeks later and I had to call again regarding a different med that I purchase through my vet but made by Roadrunner. I waited almost an hour for my call to be answered. Maybe the "bunch of people" quit already???? And don't try to post a negative review on Facebook - it will never show up - they edit their reviews and only keep the positive.
